The first time I saw the band was in Beauly ( by Inverness) in 1970. You played a few times and the it was Dingwall where I heard Time Machine for the first time
We really liked the performances and music but it all fell apart up here after the performance in the Rose Street HAll, Inverness
in Feb 1971. That was the one Martin Griffiths collapsed at the star was pulled of. Came back on and another 30 seconds and that was that. I have never herd an explanation as to what was up. We all had our own view on his lucid one minute not the next. It kinda blew things apart for the fans up here

Some 37 years on can you shed some light on the Rose Street gig

37 years on .. that must have been the one and only gig where martin had to retire.. he was not prone to that sort of thing at all ... unfortunately nobody can remember the incident or what was wrong with martin..the work schedule was FAR too heavy so perhaps martin was exhausted?
